Elephant Mobile Library Treats Young Readers in Laos to a Day They Will Never Forget – Room to Read Blog

Elephant Mobile Library Treats Young Readers in Laos to a Day They Will Never Forget – Room to Read Blog.

I was online tonight reading the most recent news on one of my favorite charities (Room to Read founded by John Wood) and I found this story. I absolutely love it! How beautiful and inspiring. Not only is Room to Read continuing to promote education and literacy but they are also working with other agencies to promote awareness about the endangered state of some of our most beautiful animals, the elephants.

I love when organizations can work together toward a common goal and I love seeing creativity play such a big role in reaching out to those who need help. A four-legged mobile library is a fantastic idea! Way to go Room to Read! Yet another reason why they are one of my favorite charities.

(BTW…also check out Charity: Water and read Scott’s story. It’s very powerful.)
